Customer story

A touring spirits tasting expo runs a fast door and a full show floor on Talli.

A national touring spirits tasting expo, with a whisky series and a tequila series, brings exhibiting brands and their guests together in cities across the US. It uses Talli to check guests in at the door, let brands scan visitors at their booths, and take the same event from city to city.

What made it hard?

A tasting expo is a short, busy evening that has to go right in every city it visits.

A touring format

The same expo runs in city after city, each stop with its own venue, date and floor.

Many brands on one floor

Dozens of brands pour at their own booths, and each one needs its booth, its staff and its leads.

A fast door

Guests arrive together when the doors open, so the line at the entrance has to keep moving.

Leads for every booth

Brands come to meet guests, so they need to know who stopped by and who agreed to hear from them.

How do they use Talli?

The organizer runs each stop of the tour as a Talli event, with brands and door staff working from their own phones.

Check-in on phones

Door staff scan tickets with a phone camera or find guests by name, and each ticket counts once. Check-in

Booth scanning and lead sharing

Brand staff scan visitors at the booth with the booth scanner, and what each brand sees follows the event's lead sharing setting and each guest's own choice. Brand portal and booth scanner

Exhibitors and the brand portal

Brands are added to each event with a level and a booth and invited to their own portal, where they see their booth dashboard and their leads. Exhibitors

Cloning the event city to city

Each new stop starts as a copy of an earlier one, with its own venue, date and title, ready to review and publish. Cloning events

One layout across a series

The show floor layout carries to every venue of the series, with what changed per room shown side by side. One layout across a series
